Stephen George + Partners LLP (SGP) is celebrating the handover of Knighton Fields Centre by contractor MCS Fast Track Ltd to Ellesmere College, a leading provider of education for children with special educational needs (SEN). The satellite campus, in a refurbished community college in Leicester, will provide education for 60 pupils aged 5 to 19 with communication and interaction difficulties, including complex autism.

Dexter Moren Associates (DMA) has won planning approval to convert and extend a Grade II* listed 1960s police station in the City of London into a 216-guestroom five-star hotel for Hong Kong based Magnificent Hotel Investments Ltd. Satellite MPR was delighted to promote DMA’s heritage-led approach to the design for the Wood Street Police Station – which has been has won praise from influential heritage bodies – and gain significant coverage in architectural and hospitality design press.

Dexter Moren Associates has secured planning permission to deliver a 175-room lifestyle hotel and 80-unit aparthotel in the Digbeth district of Birmingham. The scheme will redevelop the Smithfield House and Wolverley House office buildings on Digbeth High Street on the eastern edge of the Birmingham Smithfield Masterplan.
