SGP secures position on key transport framework

Stephen George + Partners LLP (SGP) is delighted to have secured a place on the 4-year, £80m Transport for Greater Manchester‘s TPS Framework (2021 – 2025)  - Lot 6: Transport Architectural Design Services.

Partner and Head of Transport, Alistair Branch: “This is a major coup for SGP and a strategic objective secured by the transport sector team. The framework opens up the opportunity to work with other participating regional authorities, including Transport for the North, to deliver transport projects and programmes across the region.”

Transport for Greater Manchester (TfGM) is the transport delivery arm for the Greater Manchester Combined Authority (GMCA), overseeing transport and travel across Greater Manchester, home of the UK’s largest regional economy outside London and a diverse population of over 2 800 000 people. The Framework covers a wide range of services and is intended to provide an efficient, commercially assessed and compliant procurement route to help meet upcoming consultancy and advisory support needs.

Concludes Alistair: “This success is the culmination of our experience in this specialist field, having created a strong, design focused portfolio of infrastructure schemes including bus stations, railway stations, pedestrian bridges, interchanges, rail depots and rail logistics hubs. We’ve helped local authorities and transport authorities to realise their visions from inception to completion, on projects ranging from £500k to £43 million.”
